A new tradition is to have a cake to celebrate special anniversaries. Another popular idea is cupcakes which are usually decorated with the anniversary number and date on each cupcake which
is then given to guests.

The Anniversary cake tradition:

There is also the very popular idea of having the couple’s original wedding photograph printed onto edible paper and then put on their cake. It can look fantastic and is very special way of recreating the memories of the couple’s special day with their children. This idea can also be used on small cupcakes which can then be given out to guests as a party favour. I personally really like this idea and can understand why so many people also choose this as the decoration for their anniversary cake.
